Supply, installation and commissioning of the smoke-exhaust system including in the MEP Room of the Guatapé Hydroelectric Power Plant.
It includes a system of three fans in a row (250 HP each one), with a single capacity of 72.000 CFM and a negative static pressure of 13,5 in H₂O.
Combined system performance:
- Total Power: 750 HP
- Flow: 72.000 CFM
- Negative static pressure: 40,5 in H₂O
Ductwork, fabricated from 16-gauge galvanized steel, extends approximately 2.4 km and features external reinforcements made of hot-dip galvanized flat bars (2 ½” x 3/16”), amounting to a total of 126 tons of sheet metal.
The system has been designed to operate via motorized dampers, accommodating three fire scenarios within the MEP room.
